LEGO - minifigures Series 13
Look look! It seems Series 14 is coming out soon but only now I got my hands on some Seres 13 packs!
I know there is the possibility of buying the entire Series on LEGO shop but not only it is quite expensive and I don't have enough space to put all the figures and besides...opening packs and not knowing what is inside is one of the great sensations of collecting.
At least for me.
And so...instead of going to LEGO shop I went to other shop that sells lots of fun stuff including LEGOs to get the packs.
When I asked the seller for 2 packs she asked me in return 'Which minifigures do you want?'
Soooooooooooo I don't know how, probably by the pack item number, they know what is inside each pack and they have them numbered.
Soooooooooooo against all odds I bought the packs already knowing what was inside...
I'm sorry...not sorry.
Maybe I'm starting to change my mind...
And so I choose the Egyptian Warrior which reminds me of The Mummy, film I loved.
And of course, I could not go without choosing The Sheriff.
The worst part of this is that each pack costs 3.5€ which I think is around 4$. That's too much! After buying these I wanted more but don't know if I managed my budget to accommodate it. That is almost the price of one of the smallest LEGO set box.

LEGO Train - 3 in 1
Once I bought one of these 3 in 1 boxes with an airplane.
Usually I see these boxes with a solo build toy but then I found these boxes offering the possibility to buy 3 boxes and make a train out of it.
Just the front machine was a good indication to buy the box, but then why not buying two more and have the whole train!?
Lets see the inside...
Each box brings two packs of peaces.
And of course the guide to build the train.
First the machine.
It's simply beautiful in its simplicity.
Then the carriage.
And finally the...nuclear motor?
Lets start joining the parts.
How cute is it all finish and put together!?
You can see from the front. Just missing the smoke coming from the chimney top.
And from the top you can see that even the parts being small the train all together has some size to it.
And from behind.
I still can't picture what the 'nuclear' thing is doing on the back. But someone might tell me.
It's one of my favourite LEGOs.

LEGO - Simpsons edition
I had some trouble finding some LEGO Simpsons packs.
Specially some cheap packs.
Or not so expensive packs.
I only got two packs because of that...
I was hopping for Bart...
Second for Maggie...
I got Bart!
And I got Milhouse.
Since I got my first option I don't think I'll buy more packs.
Maybe a try for Maggie but not desperately.
The minifigures are quite nice but the thing that makes them different (and strange) from the other LEGO figures are the heads. The rest is the same.

LEGO minifigures - Series LEGO Movie
Yep. I got 4 more LEGO packs.
I go them cheaper than the previous two so that's why.
And I think now I won't buy more.
Why?
As I said in previous post, I wanted the Panda and the Bad Cop.
By the first picture you can see I got the Panda!
“I only build in black…and white…and bamboo.”
Look at the detail of the zipper on the back of the Panda Guy!
It's sad that the face is covered with the panda mask because, as you can see in the top picture he's =P at you.
And next I got the Bad Cop "There's still a Good Cop in me somewhere…"
Of course I choose the dark side cop!
I like his smartphone.
And by now I can shut down and relax. Lets see what I got else...
Velma Staplebot “Would you like to make an appointment, or shall I summon the Micromanagers?”
Is she a robot?
The best I like about her is the hair. How splendid is that hair!?
And the last but no the least I present...
Gail the Construction Worker “Wait, I’m confused. Who are we talking about?”
Since I haven't seen the LEGO Movie yet I'm failing to understand the characters...but still they look good and are fun to collect.
But to be honest...There were better LEGO minifigures series already.

LEGO minifigures - Series LEGO Movie
I was ill and I'm still to get better.
That's why the blog stopped being updated...
That and keep the real life going on has been tough.
But! Meanwhile it was my birthday and that's why I got myself two of the new LEGO Minifigures series.
Only two because they are very expensive!
The list of minifigures is interesting, even if I don't get the minifugre with extra legs...
I was aiming for the panda or the cop but I cannot totally complain.

“Four score and twenty bricks ago…” |
I got mister Abraham Lincoln!
The beard is connected to the hat so we cannot have him without both. That's a shame...
Next I get the colourful Taco Tuesday Man.
He cames with some chili plate.

“If only it could be Taco Tuesday every day!” |
I can still remember when Conan O'Brien mistook Portuguese people for Mexicans. Nothing against Mexicans but Conan should know better if he has Irish ancestors...
I still have to think if I will buy some more packs...At least will try 1 or 2 more but only if I could find it cheaper! Buying it from LEGO store was a pain to my wallet.
Be cool.

LEGO minifigures - More Series 10 packs
I got more packs of Series 10 but some of the figures seem to run away from me and from, like 10 packs, I only got the next 4 I missed yet.
![]() |
“Why laugh when you can cry?” |
I got the Sad Clown who is sad. Who would tell!
![]() |
“Is this the right purple? It looks a little off…” |
Also got the Decorator even if he seems more like the Painter than anything else.
![]() |
“Give me liberty or give me disassembly!” |
The Revolutionary Soldier whom only lacks singing La Marseillaise.
![]() |
“Ah, the most dangerous game…paintball!” |
And finally the Paintball Player who would have a great competitor in the Decorator. Who would win!?
I'm preparing an other collecting figures post, but this time around about Playmobil!

LEGO minifigures - First Series 10 packs
As I said in previous post, I'm showing my first Series 10 packs.
It's fun that LEGO is from Denmark but their products arrive first in USA than in some European countries.
Yep, is the end of the world feeling.
But they arrived! That's all that matters.
And here are the results.
![]() ![]() | ||
“I’ll be jumping any second now. Yup, any second now.” |
Look who's scarred! The Skydiver!
That is a nice touch that someone doing skydiving for the first time would probably feel.
But at least he has a parachute bag. Will it open?

“For the glory of Rome!” |
I got two Roman Commander but soon enough I got someone to take care of the duplicated figure.
Even if I don't mind getting more of this.
I want to build a great Rome Empire Army!
![]() |
“Everything was better back in my day!” |
The least interesting figure is the Grandpa.
Sorry all grandpas in the world but as a minifigure to collect is simply boring.
![]() |
“Surrender or taste defeat!” |
To make the Rome army tremble a bit here it is the one and only Warrior Woman!
I know they are from different times but in LEGO everything is possible.
That spear is huge. But the shield is awesome with the eagle.

“I got it! I got it!” |
And for last I saved the best.
I got the Baseball Fielder in my first packs! I thought I'd be desperate seeking for it but no.
I think he looks better with the cap turn backwards. But only because he looks less mean.
And yes, the glove is the hand itself. Shame there is no baseball.
