Funny in the ice
I don't have much hockey cards as I stated before. But I've noticed already that most of them have the player alone.
Well I like crowded cards.
And in an ice hockey game it's more difficult to get a player alone than surrounded by team mates or other teams' players.
And in hockey we like to see them fight for the puck like there is no tomorrow.
The top card shows the 'fight' in front of the goalie which tend to be always great to watch.
Other situation fun to watch is when the throw themselves from the bench to the ice when changing lines.
There are true amusing moments.
And other great moments are those close ups when they get cornered and face to the wall.
In this cards you can even see the puck and imagine the crash that followed in the next frame of this situation.
That's why I like Ice Hockey cards too.

Tyler Kennedy
Excluding Crosby Kennedy must be one of my favourite players.
He always look eager to participate and play.
And you can see he takes fun from what he's doing which is great to see.
Not in the first line of my Pens but he always put a tremendous effort in the game and he's missed when not in the lineup.

Retro uniforms - NHL style
I've liked Pens not only because the Penguin is cute but also for the black uniforms.
But then I totally fell in love with the yellow and blue retro uniforms.
I only have cards with the blue uniform. But it's something since I don't have much NFL cards.
Ahhhhhhhhh And I miss Jordan Staal huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggeeeeeeee time!

Packs written in the stars...or something like that
In a couple of posts behind I mention I bought a bunch of rack packs of wax era cards.
In other occasions I bought similar packs but these ones were different.
When I got them I noticed something...
They were all tagged with some players names.
I've read of some packs searchers and stuff but to me it's still *magic*.
So lets see if I really got the promised players.
Joyner?
Check!
Clemens?
S'berry?
Treadway?
Lind?
All 4 check!
Sandberg?
Joyner?
Steinbach?
Check! (No need to show again Joyner card)
Mattingly?
Boggs?
Magadan?
McGwire?
And again check!
The thing is that the 4 rack packs shouted other great cards too.
But for sure all these were a great intro.

We won it (almost) all!
This last weekend we won the last trophy to win for the last season 2013/2014.
The Super Cup is played between the Championship winner and the Portuguese Cup winner. Since we won both of them the losing team from the Portuguese Cup plays the Super Cup.
This is the first trophy played in right at the beginning of the new season but it's about the last season so...we can say we won all national trophies to win from last season!
We are the first team to achieve that since adding the new trophy the Leagues Cups.
We just missed out the UEFA Euro League Cup.
Hope this season we can get the championship at least. We lost almost every player from last year team. This is going to be difficult.

LEGO Train - 3 in 1
Once I bought one of these 3 in 1 boxes with an airplane.
Usually I see these boxes with a solo build toy but then I found these boxes offering the possibility to buy 3 boxes and make a train out of it.
Just the front machine was a good indication to buy the box, but then why not buying two more and have the whole train!?
Lets see the inside...
Each box brings two packs of peaces.
And of course the guide to build the train.
First the machine.
It's simply beautiful in its simplicity.
Then the carriage.
And finally the...nuclear motor?
Lets start joining the parts.
How cute is it all finish and put together!?
You can see from the front. Just missing the smoke coming from the chimney top.
And from the top you can see that even the parts being small the train all together has some size to it.
And from behind.
I still can't picture what the 'nuclear' thing is doing on the back. But someone might tell me.
It's one of my favourite LEGOs.

Catchers
Two examples of how a catcher's card can be great.
We have Mike Scioscia arguing with the umpire. And there is someone else there too.
Here Damon Berryhill is ready to tag the player rushing to the home plate.
Would it be an horizontal card and the sliding player would be fitting and the card would be even better.

What did I just hit?
Ken Griffey Jr. doesn't seem that happy with his hit.
Dave Parker is still looking for the ball.
Tony Gwynn and the umpire simply didn't got anything that just happen.

Dust post - Karate move
I don't think Galarraga was playing baseball here.
It seems more like making some karate move.
But I don't mind because in the end there is DUST EVERYWHERE!
