Star Wars - Force Attax

I cannot get away from Star Wars collecting cards...Sue me.

Since the other collection that I showed before, telling the story for the films, is no longer available I got the Topps Force Attax cards now.

It started with series 1 and I got some series 2 (or extra cards as they call it).

Here are a few of them for you. Will be showing more in future posts.

Hope you like them.

We have common cards and all shiny cards, some more rare than others. The scan can make them justice. But they look pretty nice in your hand.

Even if the card is busy with the game thing, with the points and stuff, you get, still, a somehow clean look of the picture, so that's cool for me.

Tri-Champs and a Cup

And for the first time in my lifetime, so far, I see my team for the first time get a tri-champs title!

SL Benfica has won again and now makes it 3 seasons in a row winning the First League.

And to end the season we also won our 7th League Cup title too!

This is kinda beautiful...

2016 Season

The moment you learn that one of your favourite players is now on your team.

Dustin Ackley is now a Yankee!

Watch me buying all Topps garbage to get a card of him as Yankee.

We don't get much baseball news here. So it was great to see that at least a media made a small report about the start of the season and added some funny pictures.

And it seems they know how I love dust in the air!

Have a great 2016 season!

The game of Wallet Card - Snow

I know this was a thing for 2015 and we're already in 2016 but I couldn't get it before the end of the year.

I'd like to end the great The Game Of Wallet Card with a double.

Love Is Louder is a movement to help young people (and not only) to overcome bullying and other things. Please check their page.

I supported the movement, even if it is based on US and I live across the Atlantic Ocean, because I'd like to have something like this when I was younger. It is important. So I bought two baseball shirts from them.

And so, this way, I end the wallet game with two Snows.
My friend (I can call him like that after spending all year in my wallet - and he just got a bit bend by the middle) J.T. Snow and Brittany Snow (she was the creator of Love Is Louder - and Chloe in Pitch Perfect).

And since my birthday is coming I might open my wallet and buy some box of cards to spice up the blog again.

Baseball season is almost here!

Donruss '91 - A that's-how-I-like-my-catchers saga

I could only find this card of Skinner.

And this is how I like my catchers.

Donruss '91 - A doing-something-that-is-not-playing saga

Warming-up or just posing for the photo. Those are good too.

And I know this should be about doing other things but playing, and Tim Jones is playing, but the face he's making looks more like he's running for the WC like he cannot hold on!

Donruss '91 - A defending saga

I know infielders cards with them defending are mainly not that exciting, but is also part of the game. And I'd like to see more of that.

Of course that some of the best cards we also get from them. Those diving, throwing-myself-at-base-like-there-is-no-tomorrow cards are pretty awesome! It seems Donruss didn't get those.
